What will WWDC 26 bring for developers
Developer, Podcaster, Streamer Full-time engineering manager focused on mobile app development. In my downtime (do people still have that?) I make apps, games, Podcasts, and live stream it all.
Next week is Apple developer Christmas. WWDC 26 starts and we all get to see what is coming for the next year.
Aside from the obvious A.I. that will be everywhere (or will it), and the push to have everyone believe they finally got Siri to work right. What else do we thing we will see?
For me, I hope it is a bug fix year more than new features that probably won't make the final release. I also hope it's not just another PR and marketing drive more than the intended developer conference it is supposed to be.
I'll be appearing on some Podcasts as I always do, I love getting together to chat with friends who are gracious enough to have me back while I try to sound like I know what I'm talking about.
Keep an eye on my main personal Web site, Peterwitham.com and my Podcasts at https://dashboard.transistor.fm/networks/pw-podcasts there will be new episodes and lots of thoughts from me I'm sure.
For now, I'm making the most of trying to clean up my code bases and close out known problems before next week gets here.
